Issue study is at the root of all League of Women Voters positions and advocacy efforts.

Through a careful process that strives for inclusion and seeks unbiased understanding of an issue, League members around the state gather and discuss what they have learned and eventually seek consensus or concurrence of opinion.

Once the process is complete, the consensus statement becomes the League's position on that issue. While no state studies are currently in progress, the national League has initiated a study of the National Popular Vote compact and recently arrived at consensus on a series of statements regarding immigration.
